Features (current)

f/01

'Single' project mode

Unlimited projects for weddings, portraits, commercial work.

'Multiple' project mode

An email-centric workflow perfect for school portraits. See below.

f/02

Private link sharing

Send a single unlisted link instead of a login. Clients open their gallery, no account required. Revoke the link at any time.

f/03

Access expiry

Optionally set a link to close itself after a certain date.

f/04

Client notes & feedback

Clients mark favourites and leave notes. Use Brevo to optionally get email notifications.

f/05

Project archiving

Hide past projects from your workspace but not your clients.

f/06

Large shoots via FTP

FTP your image files to your server and let PhotoServe import them into your project.

f/07

Folders as sub-albums

Sub-folders are uploaded as sub-albums.

f/08

Contact sheet

There's always room for an optional PDF contact sheet.

'Multiple' project mode

f/09

Stop wrestling with broken links and sending a multitude of individual emails. This email-first centric workflow handles the chaos. Connect it to Brevo for a seemless gallery notification delivery or copy/paste a CSV into your favourite mail-merge app.

Every gallery link is a unique, cryptographically random address that's effectively impossible to guess — and for school or group shoots, each family's link is completely isolated, so no one can ever see another family's photos.

What it runs on

Your hosting, your way.

r/01

OK

A shared host running DirectAdmin or cPanel.

Better

A Linux VPS or bare metal box. 1 vCPU and 2GB RAM*, and as many GBs as you need.

* Shared hosts limit how much RAM they give you (usually 128MB). This severely limits thumbnail creation which speeds up page loading for you and your clients. A VPS or dedicated server has no such limitations. This is even more apparent with large JPEGs files.
r/02

PHP

An recent version: 8+ will do.

r/03

Database

MariaDB or MySQL (which is usually included with shared hosting).
